Ms Bhandari's newfound love for riding has given a new meaning to her life.
The microbiologist student, who struggled to find a footing in her initial days Down Under, said motorcycle riding has evolved into a reliant hobby that gives her an unmatched adrenalin rush and helps her destress during hard times.
"Riding not only gives me immense joy but also helps me to relax and destress. It is a big part of my existence and helps me to feel liberated," she said.
Ms Bhandari said that her husband, who shares her passion for motorcycles, encouraged her to ride solo and go on long trips.
"My husband, who is an experienced rider, noticed my passion and encouraged me to ride my own bike. I now mostly ride in groups or with my husband as it makes me feel safer," she shared.
The couple is also a part of 'Singhs Social Motorcycle Club', a social group for motorcyclists who promote brotherhood, equality, and philanthropy through their riding initiatives around the globe.
She said more women should be encouraged to hit the road to find a spot in a motorcycle culture historically dominated by men.
