'Celebrating Dashain overseas': Australia's Nepali community keeping their culture alive

An elderly man blesses his sister-in-law by placing a 'Tika' - red vermillion mixed with rice - on her forehead on the main day of the Hindu festival, Dashain (Durga Puja) in Kathmandu, 21 October 2007. Hindus across the country are celebrating Biyaya Dashami, the tenth day of the Dashain Festival. On this day elders of the family apply Tika as blessing to the younger members of the family.
