First Nepali community centre in Australia inaugurated: 'It feels just like we are in Nepal'

The Australian Nepali Multicultural Centre (ANMC) located in Melbourne has celebrated its inauguration. On Sunday, 22 October the official ceremony was jointly carried out by Peter Khalil and Samuel Rae, members of parliament for the federal electorates of Wills and Hawke, respectively. Community leaders spoke to SBS Nepali about future plans for the centre, while Dashain festival attendees said 'it feels like a home away from home'.
