A study published in the journal Thorax found that youngsters who spend a lot of time on social media are more likely to vape and smoke cigarettes. Analysis showed that 2% of those who said they did not use social media reported current cigarette smoking, compared with 9.2% who used social media for one to three hours a day per weekday.
