This refreshing, dairy-free dessert is synonymous with the Iranian city of Shiraz, where it may be coloured yellow with saffron. Featuring orange-blossom water, rice vermicelli and pomegranate seeds, the contrasting textures and flavours make faloodeh a unique frozen treat.

What’s better than a margarita? One that will last you more than two sips and cool you off in this heat. This one’s made with blood orange and lime, for a refreshing citrus hit.

We’re not sure whether this is entirely considered a “frozen” treat, but we are definitely #teamspider! This hybrid lemonade ice cream float combines the feel of a retro milkbar, with a gloriously purple ube ice cream. Think halo-halo, but lighter!

This dessert is a mash-up between Turkish delight and ice-cream. Make it the day before your dinner party and wow your guests by topping these pretty little timbals with soft clouds of Persian fairy floss, pomegranate seeds, pistachios and berries. Simple, stylish and oh-so-delicious.

This ice-cream is a kind of magic. No dairy, say whuuuutttt? Frozen fruit and coconut milk are processed until it whips up into a light, fluffy dessert. It is best eaten straight away but can be frozen once made.
