Singer and beacon of hope Lizzo has taken to social media to lead fans in a 30-minute guided meditation session.

Equipped with burning incense, an array of crystals and her trusty flute, the 'Truth Hurts' star shared "a meditation and mantra to promote healing during this global crisis."

In a caption shared on Instagram, Lizzo encouraged meditation newbies to "use at your own pace.”

In the video, Lizzo plays the flute for a few minutes before speaking.
“I wanted to take the time today to do a mass meditation," she says.

"We’re going to come together and take deep breaths and we’re going to join in agreement, and we’re going to try to eliminate the fear as much as we can, as we work together during this trying time. During this global pandemic.”

She continued: "We need to really listen to each other. We need to really feel each other out. We need to really be there to help each other.

"We can’t be afraid of each other, so that means we have to be doing the right things to be safe: face masks, washing hands… So we’re going to take all of this fear and transmute it into love.”

Other celebrities have also been sprucing meditation as a self-care strategy during coronavirus self-isolation, including .

"Meditation has changed my life in the last few months," Cabello wrote in a post on Instagram. "I didn’t share this with you guys at the time because honestly I was just trying to be okay, but I was experiencing severe anxiety."
While encouraging fans to use guided meditations on YouTube, the star also shared her own guided meditation instructions.

"Close your eyes and sit with your spine upright and feel gravity grounding your body to the earth’s surface and supporting you," she wrote. "Take three deep breaths and then begin to just notice the natural flow of your breath. Being aware of breathing in, breathing out. Following every inhale and exhale with your attention.

"Once your mind has stilled. Picture every human in the world right now, elders, people that have respiratory problems and are vulnerable, picture the people that are vulnerable, picture their families, and say 'May you be healthy. May you be safe. May you be free from illness. May you be well.'”
