A new year means a new footy season, and a new footy season means NITV's sports commentary programs Yokayi Footy and Over the Black Dot are ready to bring audiences all the action.
2022 will see new faces to both shows, with legendary Richmond and Collingwood player and proud Mineng and Yinggarda man Andrew Krakouer joining existing co-host Megan Waters on Yokayi Footy.
Proud Anaiwan and NRL icon Dean Widders will take the reins on a new look Over the Black Dot.
Andrew joins the Yokayi Footy team following Tony Armstrong’s two years as co-host, whilst Dean will be taking over from , who is now NITV's Head of Digital.

Following a mammoth 2021 for the Dot — which saw — Over the Black Dot is back to tackle a huge season for the NRL, in a year that will see the 50th Koori Knockout and another epic Indigenous round. Each week, the program will break down every play from every round, alongside special guests.
In partnership with the AFL, Yokayi Footy returns with its new co-host duo in action, Yokayi Footy will continue to cover everything Australians love about AFL through bold yarns, powerful monologues, compelling community stories, and exclusive interviews with Indigenous AFL players.

NITV’s Head of Sport, Mark Ella says 2022 is set to be an exciting year for the world of sport and our incredible sports panel shows.
"It’s a pleasure to welcome long-time guests, and now hosts, Andy and Dean to our Yokayi Footy and Over the Black Dot families. I can't think of a better way to start the season," Ella said.
"We’re looking forward to continuing our partnerships with both the AFL and the Koori Knockout. The positive impacts we can make when organisations such as ours come together shows just how important diversity in sport is.
Over the Black Dot returns on Tuesday 15 March at 8.30pm on NITV.
Yokayi Footy returns at the special one-off time of 9pm on Tuesday 15 March, then moves to an ongoing time slot on Wednesdays at 8.30pm for the remainder of the season.
Yokayi Footy will be broadcast on NITV, AFL.com.au and the AFL Live app. Over the Black Dot will be broadcast on NITV. Catch up on both programs on SBS On Demand.
