NITV’s flagship NRL footy show, Over the Black Dot, is back in 2018 after an exciting and successful first season. The program will return at the new permanent timeslot of Tuesdays at 8.30pm.
This season, NITV welcomes back Djuro Sen, George Rose and Owen Craigie as hosts. They will again give player’s insights into the breaking stories from the great game of rugby league. This year, the program’s line-up will also include two rotating panellists, dual international athletes Timana Tahu and Bo Dela Cruz. Each week the team will be joined by special guest analysts and players to review and preview each round of the NRL.
Back by popular demand, George Rose is hitting the streets with his light-hearted in-car interview segment, ‘Rolling with Rose’, providing a candid insight into the lives of some of the biggest players in the game.
This season also debuts a brand new segment – ‘Owen Craigie’s Hot Dot’, where Owen sits down with the who’s who of the rugby league community and chats about hot topics over the world’s hottest chillies. This segment is sure to bring plenty of laughs and maybe even a few tears.“Our community are huge rugby league fans due to the many Indigenous players in the game, so it’s with great pride that Over the Black Dot is returning in 2018" NITV’s Head of Sport, Mark Ella said.
