Patty Mills burst onto the NBA scene last week with a stunning first game, matching the record for most 3-pointers in a debut appearance.
Not content with equal-first, Mills has used his second on-season game to make a record of his own.
With his team the Brooklyn Nets facing off against the Philadelphia 76ers, Mills became the first player ever to shoot a perfect 10 from 10 3-pointers.
With the Nets down, Mills came off the bench and hit the court running, upsetting the 76ers lead and helping his team to a 114-109 comeback.
The 33-year-old’s hot streak continued in the game against Philadelphia, where he drained three shots from beyond the arc to keep his perfect shooting record to start the season intact.
If Mills' attempts last week were not enough to reassure Nets managers of their wise move in acquiring him, his history-making second game will put any doubts to rest.
His deal with the Brooklyn team was reportedly worth $16m and came at a time of some crisis, as Nets star Kyrie Irving was forced to sit out the season over his refusal to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
