The family of missing Kimberley man Jeremiah "Jayo" Rivers has been given fresh hope in their search for answers following a meeting with Queensland police.
Mr Rivers hasn't been seen since October 18, with homicide detectives investigating the 27-year-old's disappearance.
Speaking from Darwin, Jeremiah's mother, Joanne Rivers, said the meeting with detectives had updated family members on the investigation.
"Myself and my families are thankful for the police for providing an update on their continued investigation into the disappearance of my son Jeremiah, and I ask anyone out there that knows anything to please contact the Cunnamulla Police."
Mr Rivers was travelling from the New South Wales Riverina town of Balranald to Darwin when he went missing. He was travelling with six others, having spent the winter playing football in the Central Murray Football League.An air and ground search of bushland around Noccundra, near where he was last seen, failed to locate him, while family members from Darwin and the Kimberley region continue to search the area.

Jeremiah's grandmother Anne Rivers said she was struggling to contemplate what Christmas will be like if he's not found.
"We just want him back home for Christmas, because he's got a lot of family and they're all praying for him," she said.
"We go through pain every day, every night. We’re just using prayers because we believe in the lord."
Jeremiah's family thanked all that had assisted through to a GoFundMe page, other donations and support.
