Shanai Kellett has designed the AFL guernsey the Carlton Football Club will wear for this year's Sir Doug Nicholls round.
The Yorta Yorta and Juru artist has a special connection to the Indigenous round, being the great-granddaughter of Sir Nicholls.
The name of the artwork printed on the uniform is Cleanse.
"The white dots represent smoke and the blue dots represent water which resembles the emotion of being cleansed," Ms Kellett said."The pathways lead to different communities that we come from, including the AFLW Indigenous symbol and diamond to represent my great grandfather which can both be found on the back of the design."

"Coming from both the Yorta Yorta and Juru regions I am lucky enough to have dual cultures that I can share through my art, and I am honoured the Blues will wear this guernsey to celebrate Sir Doug Nicholls Round."
Carlton will wear the guernsey during the opening match of the Sir Doug Nicholls round against Sydney on May 20.

The scarf will be sold at fashion retailer Blue Illusion with 7 per cent going toward the programs.
Kellett grew up on Boon Wurrung/Bunurong Country, which she says inspired her design.
"I was honoured to be asked to create a piece of artwork through story work that reflects my surrounding environment, connecting people of different walks of life together to discuss and learn about Aboriginal culture," Kellett said.
"I hope that the collaboration with Blue Illusion will provide opportunities for Indigenous children to receive the support and care that they deserve."
