A statue of Queen Victoria in Sydney's central business district has been hit with what appears to be red paint.
It comes a day after King Charles was shouted at by Indigenous senator Lidia Thorpe, a protest that she has refused to apologise for.
"I did it for truth telling. Global truth telling about the royals who caused so much devastation to not only our people in this country, but Indigenous people around the world."

Kamala Harris has told voters to take Donald Trump's rhetoric "seriously" during a campaign stop in battleground state Pennsylvania.
The Democratic candidate has painted Trump as a threat to democracy, urging Republican voters to put the country's interests over those of the party by voting for her.
Rival Donald Trump has visited North Carolina on his latest campaign stop, amid worries storm damage will depress turnout among conservative voters in the state.
He has continued to accuse the White House and federal emergency officials of not properly supporting the recovery of the region in the wake of Hurricane Helene last month.
"They spent their money on illegal migrants. They spent their money - they didn't have any money left for North Carolina. This is not the way it's supposed to work or other places, by the way."

Australia will spend billions of dollars on air and missile defence systems under a new agreement with the United States.
Speaking in the US, Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy says Australia will acquire some of most advanced air and missile defence weapons in the world.
"This is a $7 billion investment in protecting Australia against modern and evolving missile threats... I acknowledge the active and continuing commitment of the United States to working with us to ensure the safety of Australia and our Indo-Pacific region."

Discrimination in the workplace against women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds is trending in the wrong direction.
A new survey from the Australian National University and advocacy group Women of Colour has found a ten percent increase in workplace discrimination since 2021, with two in three surveyed reporting incidents, mostly involving racism.
They have reported having their opinions and ideas dismissed, discrimination based on names and accents, and stress from not being able to bring their whole and authentic selves to work.

The young driver who fatally struck the son of South Australia's Police Commissioner has avoided going to prison over the hit and run tragedy.
19-year old Dhirren Rhandhawa has been sentenced to just over one year behind bars on a charge of aggravated driving, which is suspended on the condition he is of good behaviour for two years.
He has also been banned from driving for the next decade.
Charlie Stevens died of an irreversible brain injury after being hit as he was celebrating Schoolies with friends at Goolwa Beach, south of Adelaide, on November 17 last year.
