Seventy-seven COVID-19 deaths have been reported across the country, with 30 of those fatalities occurring in NSW and 34 in Victoria.
Queensland has reported 10 deaths and South Australia, three.
Zero fatalities have been recorded in Tasmania, the Northern Territory and the Australia Capital Territory.
There are currently 2,749 people in hospital with the virus in NSW - down from the 2,799 reported on Monday.
NSW has 183 patients in ICU and 70 requiring ventilation.
In Victoria, 851 people are in hospital - down from 873 recorded on Monday.
The state has 106 patients in intensive care.
In Queensland, hospitalisations have slightly increased from 744 to 861, with 50 people in ICU.
There are 277 people in hospital in South Australia and 22 in ICU.
Tasmania has one patient in intensive care and 273 people in hospital.
In the ACT, there are 64 people in hospital and one in ICU.
While in the NT, there are 132 people in hospital and four in intensive care.
Case numbers remain high across the country, with NSW recording 12,818 new infections of the virus, while Victoria reporting 11,311.

There were 7,588 new infections in Queensland, 1,266 in South Australia and 699 in Tasmania.
The ACT has also reported 522 new cases, while the NT has recorded 1,122 new infections of COVID-19.
It comes after 44 deaths from COVID-19 were reported across Australia on Monday.
Victoria recorded eight fatalities, while NSW had 27, Queensland, three and South Australia, six.
