Rupinder is an Indian-Australian wrestler who will launch her bid to win a medal at Gold Coast Commonwealth Games by competing against Jessica MacDonald of Canada in her opening match at Carrara Sports Arena, Gold Coast on 14 April.
Rupinder is going to have a tough challenge from Jessica MacDonald who is a three-time world medalist.
Jessica also earned the title of World Champion in 2012 while competing in the 51 kg division.
The two other players in the competition are from India and Nigeria.
In an earlier interview, Rupinder told that she is looking forward to give her best at the GC2018.
“I am very optimistic to play and win at Gold Coast. I missed this opportunity at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth games where I competed in 53kg division, which was not my category," she said.
