First Nations award winning artist and activist, Richard Bell stars in new documentary

Feature length documentary, You Can Go Now, premieres Sunday 24 September at 8.30pm on NITV and SBS.


Richard Bell is an award winning artist and a man who has been at the forefront campaigning for First Nations rights for decades.

You Can Go Now, is directed by award winning Filmmaker, Larissa Behrendt and is a compelling documentary examining Bell's life and work, alongside fifty years of First Nations activism in Australia, exploring the ongoing struggles for equality and sovereignty for First Nations people.

The documentary features prominent political figures, such as Wiradjuri woman, Minister for Indigenous Australian's, Linda Burney, Kamilaroi and Ngemba man, community leader and political activist Bob Weatherall, Wiradjuri woman, Redfern Community leader Bronwyn Penrith and many more.
