Nepali community in Tasmania welcomes Christmas with annual multicultural parade

Embracing culture and connecting to roots - more than 1,200 people took part in the 2023 City of Hobart Christmas Pageant in Hobart on Saturday, 18 November 2023. Like every year, the Nepali Society of Tasmania were among the various multicultural groups welcoming the festive season. Participants spoke to SBS Nepali about their experience, and the importance passing on traditions to upcoming generations.
