17 November is always celebrated as International Students Day

Dilail Abimanyu had the opportunity to talk with an international student from Indonesia named Afifah Tasya.

Afifah is currently studying for her Masters at Monash University, majoring in Cultural and Creative Industry. She previously studied for her Bachelor's degree at Hasanuddin University majoring in Communication Science with a focus on Public Relations.

During her studies at Hasanuddin University, Afifah heard that there was a one-semester study abroad program held by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.

There are several choices of countries for study abroad, and Afifah chose Ireland as her study abroad destination. After going through the selection stage, Afifah finally went to Ireland with 30 other people.

Since high school, Afifah has always dreamed of participating in a student exchange, because she wanted to learn about new cultures and be able to live independently at a young age.
