He shared the story of the method used by the fraudster in this type of airline ticket fraud.
He explained that the fraudster buys tickets from credit cards that they steal, then resells it (usually to the dark web).
Then, those who buy the tickets without feeling suspicious will realised when they check in at the airport and find that their tickets have been cancelled because the transaction was known to have used a credit card.
Nicholas said that one way to get safe tickets is to buy from the airline's official website. In addition, he also recommends buying tickets well in advance of departure.
