Terrified female staff members handed over the till keys and the robbers made away with cash.
Customers were seen running out of the store and a little girl was seen screaming when the incident occurred.

Restaurant Owner Sunny Singh told 7News that this was the ninth time this year the robbers had struck at his restaurant.

He told the reporter that he felt helpless, “Absolutely helpless. I have shared with my friends and family that it is best to take things in my hands, your hands and do justice on the spot.”

His frustration stems from the fact that no one has been arrested for these crimes.

Two days later, however on 11th October, Victoria Police arrested six teenage males in relation to multiple crimes which includes this robbery and have charged them with aggravated burglary, armed robbery, theft of motor vehicle and bail related offences.

All have been remanded to appear in a children’s court today.
