The film 'Outside' was initially written and developed while director Carlo Ledesma was living in Australia. After some time, it finally took shape and came to life in Bacolod City, Philippines, as Outside.

Key Points
  • Outside was originally written with an Australian setting in Sydney.
  • Carlo Ledesma continued writing during the pandemic, changing the setting to the Philippines, where he currently resides.
  • The story revolves around a family trapped in a place surrounded by zombies.
I know it's being marketed as a zombie film (at the surface), but yung wish ko is that people will look deeper into the characters and see that it is really a story about the horrors within the characters.'
