This year's Australia Day Honours list has been announced, with the Governor-General emphasising the need to nominate more people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Each year's list features prominent names in their respective fields. This year, among the awardees, include diversity and inclusion advocate and Philippine Honorary Consul to South Australia Carmen Garcia.
