Too much on your calendar? Sudden guest? Here are your go-to recipes for quick, yet satisfyingly fancy meals to dish up in under 60 minutes - preparation time included!

The hardest part is the mortar and pestle to extract the flavours of  lemongrass, galangal, garlic and ginger. Once that's done, all the ingredients go into a clay-pot or a wok to cook. So fragrant, yet all done in 20 minutes.

Miso and butter may at fist seem  to be the most unlikely combination, yet its match made in heaven. The saltiness of the miso and rich creaminess of the butter is more than enough to add umami to this gnocchi.

All you'll need is fresh sashimi grade kingfish, citrus and some herbs to toss together, for a perfect side, appetiser or snack to accompany your drinks. All in under 15 minutes.
