Celebrate the new year with the entire second season of dark comedy series Why Women Kill, arriving on the platform Saturday 15 January.
From creator Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives), the 10-episode second season features a new ensemble cast and storylines set in 1949. Why Women Kill season two explores what it means to be beautiful, the hidden truth behind the facades people present to the world, the effects of being ignored and overlooked by society, and finally, the lengths one woman will go to, in order to finally belong.

Season one of German crime drama Dark Woods will arrive at SBS On Demand on Thursday 20 January, alongside the latest season of cult favourite Canadian comedy Letterkenny. Based on a true story and following dual storylines, Dark Woods follows Hamburg police officer Thomas Betghe as he investigates the disappearance of his sister Barbara. Little does he know that the search will take more than 30 years and will reveal a series of horrific murders. Popular comedy series Letterkenny returns for its seventh season, following siblings Wayne and Katy as they run a small farm and produce stand with help from Wayne’s friends Daryl and Squirrely Dan. praises Letterkenny for being “very, very funny, even if you don’t always know why.”

Seasons one and two of drama series Sorry For Your Loss will drop on the platform on Thursday 27 January. Starring Emmy-nominee Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision) and Kelly Marie Tran (The Rise of Skywalker), Sorry For Your Loss follows a young widow who struggles to put her life back together in the wake of her husband’s unexpected death. As her grief upends and transforms every one of her relationships, it also forces her to realise there was a lot about her husband that she didn’t know. The series has been praised by as “so fully formed, so funny and candid and wrenching right from the start, that you almost question the emotional propriety of it all.”
