What Does Australia Really Think About…
In a ground-breaking new documentary series, SBS seeks to explore how stigma and prejudice impact the lives of millions of Australians, by getting to the heart of what people really think about disability, old people and obesity. Three-part series What Does Australia Really Think About… is hosted by Kurt Fearnley, Noni Hazlehurst and Casey Donovan. This new series uses surveys reviewed by the University of Melbourne, University of Queensland and La Trobe University to reveal where Australians stand on these three topics. The results paint a clear picture of how stereotypes and misconceptions are still incredibly prevalent in Australian society.
What Does Australia Really Think About… premieres 8.30pm Wednesday 18 August on SBS and . The three-part series continues weekly. Episodes will be repeated at 10.15pm Mondays on SBS VICELAND from 23 August.

Planet Expedition
Join BAFTA-winning British explorer, naturalist, presenter and writer Steve Backshall as he undertakes a series of expeditions through challenging and unexplored regions. The expedition begins in the Arctic at the most volatile and dangerous time of year, the spring melt. It’s an undertaking so challenging it has never been attempted before. The Arctic is warming at twice the rate of the rest of the planet. Steve and his team want to understand how the rising temperatures here are affecting the environment, wildlife and the local people. He then explores Mexico, Suriname, Bhutan, the Oman desert and Borneo.
Life After People
What might Earth be like if the human race were suddenly to disappear? This series explores and visualises a post-human future, revealing the fate of structures like the Brooklyn Bridge and Big Ben and creatures that might inherit the places we once lived. Supporting the visuals and special effects are interviews with specialists from the fields of engineering, botany, biology, geology and archaeology.

The Devil You Know
In season 1 of this true crime docu-series, journalist Chad Nance races to learn the truth when human remains are found in the North Carolina home of self-proclaimed Satanist Pazuzu Algarad. The second season follows the stories of two macabre deaths: a bizarre murder in Pennsylvania and a suicide in Detroit that reveals Sherry Shriner’s diabolical lizard cult.
