Pop superstar Taylor Swift has helped one lucky couple celebrate their big day, surprising them with a serenade at their engagement party.
Newly engaged couple Alex Goldschmidt and Ross Girard were celebrating with family and friends in Los Angeles when Goldschmidt made the special introduction.
"There is a person who is not here who sort of played a part in all of this," he told the room.
He added: "If you would give a warm welcome to my friend Taylor."
Swift them appeared, guitar in hand, to perform an acoustic rendition of her song 'King of my Heart', which had played a special role in the couple's relationship.
“This is from Alex… but sung by me,” Taylor joked before singing.
Goldschmidt had apparently emailed the star, explaining the significance of the Reputation track - and she was more than happy to oblige.
