Olympic champion Simone Biles has sent social media into meltdown after being the first woman to ever land a triple-double in competition.
"Magic" and "greatest ever" were some of superlatives used to describe Biles after she successfully completed a triple twisting-double somersault at the US Gymnastics Championships in Missouri.
She later followed up by making history with a double-double dismount from the balance beam.
At the peak of her routine, Biles could be seen up to ten feet in the air, a distance .
Let's watch this mastery in action:
Here is her double-dismount:
Biles got shout outs from former first lady Michelle Obama who tweeted she "couldn't more proud" of the athlete.
Biles triumph comes days after she spoke out against USA Gymnastics for failing to protect her and other teammates from ex-team USA doctor Larry Nassar, who was of sexual abusing dozens of young athletes in his care.
"You literally had one job and you couldn't protect us," she told media last week.
The 22-year old was all smiles after going to claim her record-tying sixth all-around U.S. Gymnastics Championships title.
