In news that almost anyone could've seen coming, RuPaul is said to be eyeing the lucrative daytime TV market, shooting the pilot for his very own talk show.
According to , the Emmy-winning creator of RuPaul's Drag Race is working on the ambitious venture with Telepicture, the production company behind Ellen Degeneres' award-winning talk show.
While some fans of the Drag Race franchise were quick to share their excitement on social media, others weren't so sure.
"Honestly, I'm not that impressed with the news of a RuPaul daytime talk show," one fan wrote on Twitter.
They continued: "Until he gets on the same page with respecting the trans community, and stops spouting shitty armchair therapist advice, he should stick to Drag Race."
