Pose actor Billy Porter has stunned the fashion world with his interpretation of this year's Met Gala theme of 'Camp', arriving on a litter carried by six topless men.
His look, a nod to Ancient Egypt, featured stunning 10-foot gold wings, a 24-karat gold headpiece, and custom gold-leaf Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.
Safe to say, Porter's status as the king of fashion is safe for another year.
Speaking to ahead of his arrival, Porter said: “Camp is often used as a pejorative. What I love about having it at the Met Gala, and contextualising camp, is it brings honour to a word and genre that can be discounted very often, or thought of as cheesy."
He added: "When it’s done properly, it’s one of the highest forms of fashion and art.”
Porter has earned a reputation for his incredible red carpet looks, stunning fashion pundits in an at this year's Oscars.
