It looks like we're about to see a woman in the White House - and you'd better believe she's queer!
Jennifer Aniston has signed on to develop and star in a new Netflix film titled First Ladies, in which she plays the first female - and first openly LGBTIQ+ - President of the United States.
The film also stars comedian Tig Notaro, who plays Aniston's wife.
Notaro, who will also direct Ellen DeGeneres' upcoming Netflix comedy special, wrote and pitched the First Ladies screenplay alongside her wife, Stephanie Allynne.
A description for the political comedy, which was reportedly at the centre of a , reads: “When Beverly and Kasey Nicholson move into the White House, they’ll prove that behind every great woman… is another great woman.”
