Sunday Night's Mardi Gras broadcast
Did you miss the broadcast on Sunday night? You can catch up right now, on SBS On Demand. Join Pat Abboud, Faustina Agolley, Joel Creasey and Em Rusciano for floats, fun, and festivities as we showcase highlights from the parade, as well as an exclusive look behind the scenes.
On top of that, the broadcast also features stories that delve deeper into the issues faced by the LGBT+ community in Australia. This year we're looking at the "B" in bisexuality, we're looking at sexuality in sport, we're meeting people who are transitioning later in life, we're reminding people exactly why marriage equality is so important, we're talking about the global effects of the Orlando massacre on the LGBT+ community, and so much more.
The live stream
If you just want to see the parade as it happened, the live stream is the way to go. The live stream is uncut footage of the parade as the floats went by, paired with commentary from JOY FM 94.9—Australia’s only gay and lesbian radio station, rather than our SBS hosts.
