With all that’s going on in the world right now, you could be forgiven for missing what is undoubtedly a major holiday. Today, people in the US are marking National Puppy Day. And with the situation that the world is in right now, it’s only right that we celebrate with them.
Proud doggo parents everywhere have taken to social media to share pictures of their favourite pups. And let us tell you, these are some handsome hounds!
Tiny baby Benji enjoys long walks in the green, green grass and riding in the car with the windows down.
Our friend DJ is a bit lazier and prefers lying in bed and looking majestic.
Bernie is a bit of a socialite. He likes hanging out with his friends, cuddling and licking his nose.
Woodstock is our new favourite pupper. Just look at that “I run this place” attitude.
Puppy Clyde is just a big chonk and we love him.
And Panda the Pomski might have destroyed their toy but we think they also destroyed our heart.
In a time when we all need a little bit of happiness in our lives, these loyal dogs have stepped up and fulfilled their duties. But many of them are also playing roles they’ve never played before. As many of us work from home, our pets have become our new co-workers. One clever social media user recognised this and asked her followers to share what their co-workers have been up to. She shared that her own co-worker wouldn’t “stop screaming at me” despite the fact that she had just been fed.
Another shared a photo of their pet bunny saying, “My co-worker keeps licking my laptop while making direct eye contact with me.”
One shared a photo of their feline friend taking a break in the bathroom sink and joked, “my coworker is taking the handwashing thing a little too far.”
But taking out the award for cutest co-worker ever was this doggo who, “decided to nap at his desk.”
And while he might get the sack for sleeping on the job, this canine is using his extra face time with the boss to make his case for a promotion “to assistant branch manager.”
Meanwhile, this cat-astrophe is about to be reported to HR for taking up too much space in the office.
