Superstar drag performer Courtney Act has been revealed as one of the contestants vying to represent the country next year on SBS Australia's special.
“I’ve sat at home every year since Guy Sebastian competed in 2015 and have been so keen to be a part of it,” the former RuPaul’s Drag Race runner-up said of the opportunity.
She added: “Now, this might be my chance!”

She will join former The Voice hopeful Aydan, 16-year-old Nanos, Electric Fields, Kate Miller-Heidke, Mark Vincent and Sheppard at the preliminary contest on the Gold Coast, which SBS will .
Hosted by radio host and music buff Myf Warhurst, and comedian Joel Creasey, Eurovision – Australia Decides will showcase the best of Australian music and bring the nation closer to the Eurovision action.
In association with the Queensland Government via Tourism and Events Queensland and the City of Gold Coast, Eurovision – Australia Decides will be presented at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 February and tickets for the Jury Preview Show, Matinee Preview Show and Live TV Final are now on sale.
