He was the unwitting hero of panic-inducing Netflix documentary FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened, which delved into the failed 2017 music festival that scammed thousands of wealthy millennials out of their money.

Overnight, festival employee Andy King became one of the most recognisable faces on social media after - and for a pretty strange reason.

Reflecting on his time working for Fyre festival organiser Billy McFarland, King revealed that he'd been asked to give oral sex to a customs officer in order to secure a shipment of bottled water for the festival.

In the documentary, King recalled: "He [Billy] said, 'Well, you’re our wonderful gay leader and we need you to go down, will you suck d*ck to fix this water problem?' And I said, 'Billy, what?' And he said, 'Andy, if you will go down and suck Cunningham’s d*ck, who is the head of customs, and get him to clear all of the containers with water, you will save this festival.’"

He added: "I got to his office fully prepared to suck his d*ck."
While he didn't end up having to perform oral sex, King's willingness to 'take one for the team' quickly earned him royalty status on social media, with his face becoming synonymous for, well, getting the job done.

Speaking to Netflix, King has now revealed that the documentary's success has left him gobsmacked.

"I’m blown away with the response of the documentary. Completely blown away. I’m now a noun, a verb, and an adjective. It’s mind-boggling," he said.

However, he admitted to having some hesitation at his new-found fame.

"I just don’t want to be necessarily known as The Blowjob King of the world."
