Not content with conquering the BMX and MTB worlds, the adrenaline-loving Caroline Buchanan turns her gaze to kids' books, launching the first title in her new series 'Dress Up Day.'

The Australian is already inspiring kids by not only being a world-leading athlete but through initiatives like 'Buchanan Next Gen' which offers talented young female BMX racers mentoring and grants.
Recovering after breaking a finger at the UCI BMX Freestyle World Championships two weeks ago, her fourth different cycling discipline world championship in 10 years, the Canberran said she is excited about the new book series.

“I am so proud to launch my first ever kids book. It’s an encouraging story that breaks down the stereotypes of what girls can be from a young age,” she said.

Based on her own experiences as a child conquering a predominantly male sport, the book shares important messages around love, passion, individuality and bravery.

‘Girls Can B - Dress Up Day’ by Caroline Buchanan with Dani Carey, illustrated by Ana Naranjo, is out now. More information can be found .
