And, speaking after his 24 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks against the New Zealand Breakers in Round 2, the 23-year-old had a message for anyone yet to be convinced.
"It’s time people start taking notice," Humphries said. "I’m f***ing here and I’m ready to go.
"Critics are critics, man. It's what I do on the court that keeps them quiet.
"They can say what they want but the proof is in the pudding."
Humphries' haul helped the 36ers clinch an overtime victory over the Breakers at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and the two sides will resume hostilities tonight as Round 3 continues LIVE, FREE and in HD on SBS On Demand from 7:30pm (AEDT).
