Watch all the best , with the Tour de France, Tour de France Femmes and much more.
Running from April 28 to May 5, this will be the second edition since the race was renamed La Vuelta Femenina, formerly called the Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta which was traditionally held in September.
The 2023 event saw now-retired Annemiek van Vleuten win the overall title by just nine seconds over Demi Vollering (SD Worx-Protime), and the absence of the former this year means the race will be wide open and up for the taking.
It also means that all nine past winners of the race have now retired and it's a certainty that whoever triumphs in this year's race will etch their name in the history books with a maiden Vuelta Femenina win.
A 16km team-time-trial through the streets of Valencia will kick off proceedings in 2024, before slightly hillier, but mostly flat parcours stand before the women's peloton in Stages 2 through 4.
From there, the race travels into the Pyrenees and some gruelling mountain passes with summit finishes on Stage 5 (Cat. 2a Alto del Fuerte Rapitan), Stage 6 (Cat. 1a La Laguna Negra Vinuesa), and the most daunting of them all, Stage 8, which finishes atop the Category 1a ascent to the Valdesqui ski resort in Madrid.
All eight stages of the race will be streamed live and in full on SBS On Demand, with race replays available to catch up on all the action post-stage.
