Following the success of the inaugural season, the 2024 format will feature home-and-away fixtures leading up to the Finals Weekend in Adelaide on October 12 and 13.
With six teams in the competition, each round will again contain a men’s match and a women’s match, with four teams qualifying for the finals.
Defending men’s and women’s champions Perth Steel will headline the action on Round 1 when they take on the Adelaide Storm on August 31.
New South Wales Phoenix, meanwhile, will open their new season at home to the Canberra Heat, before Queensland Pirates bring the round to a close against the Melbourne Vipers on September 1.
SBS On Demand will once again showcase the key match-ups from every round live, free, and on replay, as well as every finals game, with SBS even simulcasting the Gold Medal matches on October 13.
It promises to be another exciting season of Australian volleyball and fans can look no further than SBS to bring it to them.
