Formerly named the Saudi Tour, the AlUla Tour will welcome 119 cyclists from 17 teams associated with the UCI WorldTour and Continental Tour, and will feature five challenging stages.
SBS On Demand will once again provide live coverage of the event, one Phillip Jones, chief tourism officer for the Royal Commission for AlUla, believes will improve cycling’s popularity in Saudi Arabia.
“The new AlUla Tour promises to take cycling to another level this year,” Jones said.
