German actor Wotan Wilke Möhring began his professional career in his early thirties, following a young adulthood that ranged from a stint in the military to a brief career in electronic music alongside Gabi Delgado-Lopez of the 1980s New Wave duo D.A.F. A co-starring role in the 2001 thriller "Das Experiment," as well as critically acclaimed work in a pair of made-for-television movies, "Hat er Arbeit? " and "Liebe und Verrat," brought the neophyte actor a notable audience. He subsequently worked steadily in German film and television, moving comfortably between comedic and dramatic fare, while making time for occasional bigger productions, including the 2008 World War II movie "Valkyrie."
