Tannishtha Chatterjee was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Chatterjee started her acting career landing roles in such films as the Aniket Vishwasrao foreign "Let the Wind Blow" (2004), "Schatten der Zeit" (2005) with Tumpa Das and "Brick Lane" (2008). She also appeared in the Naseeruddin Shah comedy "Barah Aana" (2009) and "Bombay Summer" (2010). Her film career continued throughout the 2010s in productions like "Road, Movie" (2010), the foreign "Watch Indian Circus" (2011) with Suhani Oza and "Anna Karenina" (2012). She also appeared in "Jalpari - The Desert Mermaid" (2012) and "I Love New Year" (2013) with Sunny Deol. In her more recent career, she continued to act in "Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain" (2014), the foreign "Gulaab Gang" (2014) with Madhuri Dixit and "Jal" (2014).
