Canadian actress Sarah Jeffery vaulted into the spotlight in 2015 when she landed major roles in the chilling limited-series drama "Wayward Pines" (Fox, 2015) and the blockbuster fantasy musical "Descendants" (Disney Channel, 2015). Born Sarah Marie Jeffery on April 3, 1996 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, she fell in love with performing at a very early age and appeared in numerous local theater productions. She booked her first screen appearance - a television commercial for a "High School Musical" (Disney Channel, 2006) board game - at the age of 11, and toiled steadily, if anonymously, on various projects throughout her teens, including a Cartoon Network pilot called "Aliens in the House" (2013). Her first high-profile role came that same year when she was cast as Thandie Newton's daughter in the crime drama "Rogue" (Audience Network, 2013-15). When that series ran its course, Jeffery landed a recurring role in M. Night Shyamalan's ten-episode science fiction drama "Wayward Pines" before playing Audrey, the daughter of "Sleeping Beauty's" (1959) Aurora and Prince Philip, in the Disney Channel's "Descendants." The musical comedy, which saw the children of Walt Disney Pictures' most iconic villains unite to wreak havoc, scored substantial ratings for the network as well as a chart-topping soundtrack album; one of its tracks, "Set It Off," which featured Jeffery with several of her castmates, reached No. 11 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. That same year, she reprised the role of Audrey for "Descendants: Wicked World" (Disney Channel, 2015), an animated short that took place after the events in the live-action film; Jeffery's profile continued its rapid ascent when she was cast as Jennifer Lopez's daughter on "Shades of Blue" (NBC, 2016- ), a police procedural produced by Ryan Seacrest.
