Born in Los Angeles, Rachel Keller soon moved with her family to Minnesota, a place that oddly ties to her future big acting break. After spending her youth in St. Paul, Minnesota, Keller attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where she acted in a few short films including "I Still Adore You" (2012) and "Flutter" (2012). She also starred in a film shot in the area called "Hollidaysburg" (2014). As she wrapped up her degree in 2014, Keller split time between Pittsburgh and Los Angeles, auditioning for various acting roles, some of which led to guest spots on "The Mentalist" (CBS 2008-2015) and "Supernatural" (CW 2005- ). Around when she graduated, she landed a full-time role on the second season of the Minnesota-located anthology show "Fargo" (FX 2014- ) as femme fatale Simone Gerhardt. Keller was the breakout star of the show's well-regarded sophomore season, and she was cast in creator Noah Hawley's X-Men universe show "Legion" (FX 2017- ) as the female lead.
