Peter MacNeill was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. MacNeill's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the Alan Scarfe horror film "Cauchemars" (1976), "Strange Shadows in an Empty Room" (1976) with Stuart Whitman and the drama "Kings and Desperate Men" (1981) with Patrick McGoohan. He also appeared in "That's My Baby" (1985), the thriller "The Housekeeper" (1987) with Rita Tushingham and "Justice Denied" (1989) with Billy Merasty. His film career continued throughout the nineties and the early 2000s in productions like the drama "The Hanging Garden" (1998) with Chris Leavins, the Ian Michael Smith dramatic adaptation "Simon Birch" (1998) and the Luke Wilson comedy "Dog Park" (1999). He also appeared in "Violet" (2000). More recently, he continued to act in the Russell Crowe biographical drama "Cinderella Man" (2005), the crime drama "A History of Violence" (2005) with Viggo Mortensen and the Deborah Kara Unger horror movie "The Marsh" (2007). He also appeared in "Talk to Me" (2007) and "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl" (2008). Most recently, MacNeill acted in the thriller "Regression" (2015) with Ethan Hawke.
