Born in Norman, Oklahoma to Nigerian parents, Nyambi Nyambi went to Bucknell on a scholarship to play basketball. Nyambi also took up acting during his final year at Bucknell, and decided to study for his Masters of Fine Arts at New York University. After completing his graduate studies, Nyambi worked on the stage, but soon broke on to the screen with a small role on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010) which was quickly followed by a large recurring role on the Melissa McCarthy starring series "Mike & Molly" (CBS, 2010-16). When that show ended, Nyambi easily segued into a recurring role in "The Good Fight" (CBS, 2017-), the Christine Baranski-starring spin off of the hit show "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-2016). It was announced that Nyambi would be promoted to season regular for the second season of the show.
