Natalia Tena was a British-born actress best known for her work in the Harry Potter films as well as the epic fantasy series "Game of Thrones" (HBO 2011- ). She was born November 1, 1984 in Surrey, England to Spanish and Basque parents. As a result, Tena grew to become trilingual in Spanish, Basque and English. She learned piano at the age of five from her mother, later learning violin and eventually the accordion, which she later used in a musical career. Her acting career stemmed from an incident in school where, after being caught smoking, a teacher encouraged her to try the profession as a means to earn a living. She did and eventually earned a supporting role in the Nick Hornby adaptation "About a Boy" (2002). The gig waylaid plans to study psychology and philosophy, who then undertook acting full-time, including her first stage role in the play "Gone to Earth" in 2005. In 2007, she earned the role that changed her career, that of half-blood Ministry employee Nymphadora Tonks in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." She reprised the role in subsequent sequels "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" (2009); "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One" (2010) and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two" (2011). Her next major project came that same year, as she portrayed the wildling Osha on the enormously popular "Game of Thrones."
