Mohammad Bakri was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Bakri appeared in such films as the drama "Hannah K" (1983) with Jill Clayburgh, the Arnon Zadok drama "Beyond the Walls" (1985) and the Fred Dryer action flick "Death Before Dishonor" (1987). He also appeared in "Rami og Julie" (1988), the drama "Foreign Nights" (1990) with Terri Hawkes and the Salim Dau drama "G'Mar Giviya" (1992). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in the horror movie "The Mummy Lives" (1994) with Tony Curtis, "Tobe Hooper's Night Terrors" (1994) and the dramatic fantasy "Tale of the Three Jewels" (1995) with Mohammad Nahhal. He also appeared in "Haifa" (1996). In his more recent career, he continued to act in "Private" (2005), the Maazen Saade drama "The Olive Harvest" (2007) and "Laila's Birthday" (2009). He also appeared in "The Lark Farm" (2010) with Paz Vega and "Giraffada" (2014) with Saleh Bakri. Bakri most recently acted on "The Night Of" (HBO, 2016).
