Michael James McDonald's acting received many laughs in the various comedies he played in throughout his Hollywood career. McDonald's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the mystery thriller "Dance With Death" (1991) with Maxwell Caulfield, the crime flick "Angel in Red" (1991) with Leslie Bega and "Body Waves" (1992) with Bill Calvert. He also appeared in "Leprechaun 2" (1994). He continued to act in productions like the Mike Myers blockbuster comedy sequel "Austin Powers: the Spy Who Shagged Me" (1999), "Slackers" (2002) with Devon Sawa and the Mike Myers smash hit comedy sequel "Austin Powers in Goldmember" (2002). He also appeared in the comedy "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star" (2003) with David Spade. McDonald had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s and the 2010s, including "Cougar Town" "Mike and Molly" (CBS, 2010-16) and "2 Broke Girls" (CBS, 2011-). His credits also expanded to "House of Lies" (Showtime, 2011-16) and the Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy blockbuster "The Heat" (2013). McDonald most recently appeared in "Mad TV 20th Anniversary Reunion" (CW, 2016).
