Matt King is a British comedic actor who is usually seen as a sketchy, disreputable side character. He is probably best known for his memorable turn as Super Hans, the aspiring musician/friend to Robert Webb's character on the sitcom "Peepshow," a role King won over actor Russell Brand. Usually seen on the program scheming for money, sucking on a crack pipe, and partaking in general over-the-top behavior, Super Hans is hilariously the epitome of the bad, useless friend. Before "Peep Show" premiered in 2003, King performed standup and had written for the comedy shows "Full Frontal," "Jimeoin," and "Smallest Room in the House." In 2006, King played various characters based on real public figures--director Guy Ritchie, musicians Elton John and Gary Kemp, and legendary soccer player/manager Terry Venables--on the satire show "Star Stories," a show which poked fun at celebrity culture. He also appeared as Freeman in Steven Moffat's "Jekyll," a modern horror take on the classic Robert Louis Stevenson novel. While television has given the distinctive-looking King his best roles, he occasionally crops up in feature films as well. He can be seen in Guy Ritchie's hyper-kinetic crime movie "RocknRolla"; in Nicolas Rending Refn's inventive and intense prison drama "Bronson"; and in the British neo-noir "London Boulevard."
