American actor Madison Lintz, best known for her role as Sophia Peletier on the first two seasons of AMC's widely popular zombie series "The Walking Dead" (AMC, 2010- ), was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Lintz started acting professionally at the age of 3 and started auditioning for television commercials, soon landing a nationwide spot for the popular buffet chain Golden Corral. In addition to her commercial acting work, Lintz was also landing work as a voice-over actress. Her first big break came in 2010 when, at only 10 years-old, Lintz landed a recurring role on a new zombie series for AMC called "The Walking Dead." The show was a breakout hit for the network and over the course of the first two seasons Lintz became a familiar face to fans of the series as Sophia Peletier. Lintz's run on "The Walking Dead" ended in 2012, but she continued landing screen-acting work. That same year she appeared in two major Hollywood films, "Parental Guidance" (2012) and "After" (2012), while also landing a guest-starring role on the country music drama "Nashville" (ABC/CMT, 2012- ). With her acting career on the rise Lintz's next big break came in 2015 when she nabbed the recurring part of Maddie Bosch on the Amazon detective series "Bosch" (Amazon, 2014- ). In 2017 Lintz returned to movies with a starring role in the horror-thriller "Tell Me Your Name" (2017). The film, about a demon that haunts an unsuspecting family, was Lintz's first starring movie role.
