Inspector Chantal Vantomme moves to the police zone of Spoorkin, the smallest and westernmost police zone in Belgium. However, she soon comes to realise that the otherwise peaceful region has its fair share of crime.

Twelve ordinary citizens are summoned for jury duty, where their decision in a murder case is not the only thing at stake.
